In addition to and notwithstanding the provisions of Article I hereof, the following rules and regulations are established for the use of Brickyard Pond.
[Amended 7-11-1994 by Ord. No. 94-11]
No person shall operate, or cause to be operated,
any boat, canoe or other vessel on Brickyard Pond, so-called, if such
boat, canoe or other vessel is propelled by a motor or mechanical
power of any type not including electric.
In order to promote and protect the health,
safety, comfort and welfare of the Town's inhabitants and because
of the instability of the ice caused by hidden springs, ice skating
on Brickyard Pond shall be prohibited.
In order to promote and protect the health,
safety, comfort and welfare of the Town's inhabitants, ice fishing
on Brickyard Pond shall be prohibited.
The Police Chief for the Town of Barrington
shall be responsible for the enforcement of this article.
