A. 
No person being the owner, operator or person in control of any motor vehicle shall, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. of the following day, during the period from December 1 of each year to March 31 of the following year, park or permit their motor vehicle to be parked on any public street, not including state highways, in the Town of Barrington.
B. 
Parking during snowstorms. No person being the owner, operator or person in control of any motor vehicle shall park or permit their motor vehicle to be parked on any public street, not including state highways, in the Town of Barrington during any snowstorm after a snowfall of one inch has occurred and for a period of 12 hours after a snowfall of at least one inch has occurred.
C. 
Removal of vehicles; payment of charges. The Police Chief and the Director of Public Works are each empowered and may summarily cause to be removed from the streets of the Town any motor vehicle parked in violation of this section when the presence of such a motor vehicle interferes with the orderly removal of snow or ice from the streets. Before any motor vehicle which has been removed pursuant to this section shall be released to the owner thereof, the owner shall pay all garage charges according to the Public Utilities Commission's Rules and Regulations.

No person being the owner, operator or person in control of any motor vehicle shall, during anytime of the day or night, park or stand, or permit their vehicle to be parked or standing, in any designated fire lane in the Town of Barrington.
B. 
Any person violating this section shall, upon conviction hereof, be fined not exceeding $25. A person charged with violating this section may pay the fine in the manner provided in § 179-16 hereof.
Parking of vehicles, boats and trailers on Town property around the police station shall be regulated by the Police Department. Parking shall be prohibited in the parking lot to the rear of the police station, except for those residents who have purchased and affixed to their vehicle and boat trailer a permit and/or the appropriate one-time usage fee, as outlined in Article IX, Parking Area and Boat Ramp at Police Station, of Chapter 134, Parks and Recreation, of the Code of the Town of Barrington.

B.

Any person violating this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined $25.
A person charged with a violation of any provision of this article shall be permitted to pay a fine for said violation by mailing to the Police Chief, Barrington Police Department, Barrington, Rhode Island, in cash or a check or a money order, the sum of $25. Said privilege of paying such fine by mail shall be limited to a period of seven days from the date of the offense to the date of depositing of the payment of such fine in a depository maintained by the United States Post Office Department for the collection of mails, and the postage cancellation shall be prima facie evidence of the time of deposit. Said privilege of paying such fine by mail shall be deemed to be waived if not exercised within said seven-day period. A notice of violation of this article shall be affixed to the motor vehicle stating the specific violation charge, the schedule of fines for such violation, the time within which the privilege of paying such fine by mail may be exercised and the place to which such fine may be mailed.
