The provisions of this chapter imposing a time
limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe
other more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the stopping,
standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A. 39:4-138,
any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.

No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon
any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule I attached
to and made a part of this chapter.

A. No person shall park a vehicle during the times and
days specified in Schedule II upon any street, or parts of streets,
described in Schedule II, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B. No person shall park any vehicle or cause any vehicle
to be parked on any of the streets of the Borough between the hours
of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. local time of the same day, the purpose
of this provision being to prevent all-night parking.
C. Any person may apply to the Police Department of the Borough of Franklin Lakes for an exception to the provisions of Subsection
B hereof in the case of an emergency or for other good cause shown. Any person requesting an exception to the provisions of Subsection
B hereof must request same for each and every night that the person would be in violation of this section. The Chief of Police or the designated officer of the Police Department shall consider each request on a case-by-case basis, and his decision shall be final.
D. No person
shall park any vehicle or cause any vehicle to be parked on any of
the streets of the Borough during snowstorms or when the streets are
covered with snow.

No person shall stop or stand a vehicle between
the hours specified in Schedule III on any day (except Sundays and
public holidays) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described
in Schedule III attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than
the time limit shown in Schedule IV at any time between the hours
listed in Schedule IV on any day (except Sundays and public holidays)
upon any streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV attached
to and made a part of this chapter.

All parking of motor vehicles for the persons engaged in a home
occupation and for business visitors shall be provided on the premises.
On-street parking for persons engaged in the home occupation and for
business visitors is prohibited.

No person, except for a member of the Fire Department or a senior
citizen attending a meeting at the Senior Center, shall park a vehicle
at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in
Schedule XXI, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
