The Council shall appoint a Municipal Clerk
who shall:
A. Serve as Secretary of the Council, keeping minutes
and records of its proceedings, maintaining and compiling its ordinances
and resolutions as required by the Charter.

B. Have custody of the Township Seal and affix it to
such books, papers and documents as may be authorized pursuant to
law.
C. Have and take custody of all official books, papers
and documents of the Township for which no other repository is provided
by charter or ordinance.
D. Perform such functions as are vested in the Municipal
Clerk by the licensing provisions of state law or ordinance.
E. Perform all of the functions required of municipal
clerks by general election law (N.J.S.A 19:1-1 et seq.).
The internal organization of the office shall
be recommended by the Municipal Clerk and approved by resolution of
the Council.
