As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
STREET
Any street, avenue, highway, boulevard, parkway or square.

The Director of Community Services, the Township Engineer or any officer
in said Department delegated by the Director shall assign to every lot of
land in the Township fronting upon any street a certain street number. Such
street number shall be indicated upon a map or maps on file in the office
of the Township Engineer.
For the purposes of this chapter, each lot shall be of such front or street dimensions as shall be indicated upon the map or maps referred to in §
104-2. Such dimensions are hereby established and fixed.
Each lot upon which a building is located shall bear, in figures or words having a minimum height of 2 1/2 inches and in such conspicuous location as to be plainly visible from a point opposite said lot distant from the property line at least 50 feet, the street number assigned to said lot as indicated upon the map or maps referred to in §
104-2.
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to change the system of lot
numbers as such appear upon the assessment maps and records of the Township.

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction
thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment in the county/municipal
jail for a term not exceeding 90 days, or a period of community service not
exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof as determined by the Municipal
Court Judge. Each day on which a violation of an ordinance exists shall be
considered a separate and distinct violation and shall be subject to imposition
of a separate penalty for each day of the violation as the Municipal Court
Judge may determine.
