The Board of Trustees shall appoint a Board
of Plumbing Examiners, consisting of three members, which shall have
jurisdiction to determine the fitness of applicants for plumbing licenses
and to recommend to the Board of Trustees the issuance, suspension
or revocation of any plumbing license issued under this Code.
The members of the Board of Plumbing Examiners
shall each serve for a period of two years, to commence at 12:00 noon
on the first Monday in April and to expire immediately before 12:00
noon on the first Monday in April two years thereafter.
The members of the Board of Plumbing Examiners
shall receive such compensation as shall be fixed by the Board of
Trustees.
The Board of Trustees shall have the power to
remove any member of the Board of Plumbing Examiners and shall fill
any vacancy therein.
The Board of Plumbing Examiners shall meet monthly.
Said meeting date shall be designated by the Board of Trustees.
Two members shall constitute a quorum of the
Board of Plumbing Examiners for the transaction of business.
The Board of Plumbing Examiners shall investigate
and report to the Board of Trustees any charge that may be made against
a holder of a license issued pursuant to this chapter.
