A. The officers of this Company shall be President, Vice
President, Treasurer/Financial Secretary, Recording Secretary, Corresponding
Secretary, Chaplain and three Trustees to be known as "civil officers."
Also, a Chief, First Assistant, Second Assistant, Captain, First Lieutenant
and Second Lieutenant to be known as "line officers."
B. There also shall be one Captain and two Lieutenants
for the Mombasha Fire Company Fire Police. These officers for the
Fire Police will be elected from within their own ranks at a special
meeting which follows directly after the annual meeting.

A. The term of office of each officer shall be one year
from the date of the annual meeting in April, with the exception of
the Trustees who are elected for three-year terms. A vacancy in any
office shall be filled by election at any regular meeting. The term
of any officer not elected at the annual meeting shall expire at the
annual meeting succeeding his/her election.
B. Any candidate proposed, by the Nominating Committee,
for an election position must be in good standing at the annual review
of all active members. A member in the position of Trustee shall be reviewed
each year. Any Trustee found to be not in good standing at the time
of review shall be removed from his position. The remaining portion
of this Trustee's term shall be considered vacant and available at
the next annual election.
The line, civil and the house officers shall
be chosen from among the active members.

The newly elected officers for the Company will
take office officially upon swearing in at the night of the annual
meeting.
