No motor vehicle shall be driven upon any street drawing or having attached thereto more than one other vehicle, except that a motor vehicle with semitrailer may draw in addition to said trailer one other vehicle.
The draw bar or other connection between any two vehicles, one of which is towing or drawing the other on a street, shall not exceed 15 feet in length from one vehicle to the other. Whenever such connection consists of a chain, rope or cable, there shall be displayed upon such connection a red flag or other signal or cloth not less than 12 inches both in length and width.
A.
The driver of any motor vehicle being driven in a caravan or motorcade upon any roadway outside a business or residential district, whether or not towing other vehicles, shall allow sufficient space so as to enable any other vehicle to enter and occupy such space without danger; provided, however, that this provision shall not apply to funeral processions.
B.
The driver of any motor vehicle drawing another vehicle upon any roadway outside a business or residential district which is following a motor vehicle drawing another vehicle shall, whenever conditions permit, leave sufficient space, but not less than 200 feet, so that an overtaking vehicle may enter and occupy such space without danger. This provision shall not prevent the driver of a motor vehicle drawing another vehicle from overtaking and passing any other vehicle.
