A.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:67-16.9
of the Statutes of the State of New Jersey, the Mayor of the Borough
of Eatontown is authorized to provide by regulation for the closing
of any street or alley or portion thereof located in the Borough of
Eatontown to motor vehicle traffic on any day or days or portions
thereof during specified hours whenever he determines that such a
closing is necessary for the preservation of the public safety, health
or welfare.
B.
The regulation shall be implemented only upon the
posting of proper warning signs of such closing in such street or
portion thereof during the time the same is closed in pursuance therewith.
C.
No person shall be permitted to drive a motor vehicle
on any street, alley or portion thereof which has been designated
as closed pursuant to this Part 1.
