The applicant shall be required to secure a building permit for any proposed construction within one year from the Combined Planning Board approval of the minor site plan. The proposed construction shall be carried out within one year from the securing of a building permit unless good cause can be shown to extend the time allowed. Failure of the applicant to meet the above time constraints will nullify and void the approval of the minor site plan. Construction or excavation undertaken or continued after the time limit of expiration shall be a violation of this chapter. In such case, the violation shall be construed in accordance with §
176-13, Violations and penalties.
