It is the purpose of the CR Commercial Recreation
District to ensure that certain parcels of real property approved
as open space in conjunction with major subdivisions, but remaining
in private ownership and being used for commercial purposes, remain
open space so that the expectations and understandings of those persons
involved in that continuation of use shall not be frustrated.
In any CR Commercial Recreation District, the
following uses and no others are permitted:
A. Golf course and golf club.
B. Any other use that would result in a continuation
of the property principally in its natural state as approved by the
Planning Board.
Only accessory uses on the same land with, and
customarily incidental to, any of the above permitted uses shall be
permitted.
Because of the unique nature of this zoning
classification, no specific area or bulk regulations shall be applicable.
Area or bulk regulations shall be in the discretion of the Planning
Board on an individual case basis.
All other applicable regulations of this chapter
shall be followed as required.
