The sale of alcoholic liquors shall be allowed between the hours of 12:00 noon and 9:00 p.m.[1] in hotels, restaurants and clubs, with meals.

A. 
The drinking of any alcoholic beverage or the possession of any opened container holding an alcoholic beverage is prohibited on any street, road, alley, parking lot or sidewalk in the Town and on any grounds owned by or under the control of the Town except when a permit has been issued for the same by the proper authority.
B. 
An open container shall be construed to mean an uncapped container. All containers shall be considered empty if they contain less than an ounce of any alcoholic beverage.

It shall be unlawful for all occupants of a parked motor vehicle to consume any alcoholic beverage within the confines of the automobile or have in an uncapped container any alcoholic beverage on any highway, street or road within the Town of Griswold.

Any violation of this article shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $25.
