The City agrees to confer the benefits of § 18 of the Public
Officers Law upon its employees and public officials and further agrees to
be held liable for the costs incurred under these provisions as set forth
in § 18 of the Public Officers Law. (A copy of § 18 of
the Public Officers Law is attached hereto and made a part hereof.[1])
