A. 
The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees shall take place at 8:00 p.m. on the first Monday in the month following the annual election or at such other time and date as shall be fixed by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
B. 
The Board shall hold other regular and special meetings at such times and places as it shall, by resolution, provide from time to time.
C. 
Special meetings may also be called by the Mayor or by any two trustees by causing a written notice specifying the time and place thereof to be served upon each member of the Board, personally, at least one hour before the time of the meeting or by leaving a notice at his residence or place of business with some person of suitable age and discretion at least 24 hours before the time of the meeting or by mailing such notice at least 48 hours before such meeting. When all members are present, a meeting may be held at any time without prior notice.
D. 
Any meeting may be adjourned to a later date, but not more than three weeks.
The Board of Trustees, by resolution, may designate a newspaper having circulation in the Village as the official newspaper of the Village. Such designation shall continue until revoked or until a different newspaper is so designated.
The Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, may employ an Attorney and pay him a reasonable compensation. Such Village Attorney may also be employed from time to time to attend to any legal matters not included in the original compensation and be paid for such services. Such compensation shall be in addition to the Village Attorney's annual compensation and shall be a legal charge against the Village.
The Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, may also, from time to time, as necessity requires, employ an attorney, other than the one regularly employed, to perform any special service for the Village and pay a reasonable compensation therefor, and the expense may be a legal charge against the Village.
A. 
The Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, may employ an Engineer and pay him a reasonable compensation.
B. 
Such Village Engineer may instead be employed from time to time to attend to engineering matters and may also be employed to attend to any other engineering matters not included in the original compensation and be paid for such services. Such compensation shall be in addition to the Village Engineer's annual compensation and shall be a legal charge against the Village.
The Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, may also, from time to time, as necessity requires, employ an engineer, other than the one regularly employed, to perform any special services for the Village and pay a reasonable compensation therefor, and the expense may be a legal charge against the Village.
A. 
The Board of Trustees shall designate by resolution banks or trust companies for the deposit of all moneys received by the Treasurer, Clerk or other persons designated to receive moneys in behalf of the Village.
B. 
Any such depository in which funds of the Village are deposited shall provide the bonds, certificates or notes of the United States of America or any obligation fully guaranteed or insured as to interest and principal by the United States of America, acting through an agency, subdivision, department or division thereof, the State of New York or the Village of North Haven or provide such other obligations as may be authorized by law for such purpose as security for the funds deposited. Such bonds, certificates or notes shall be subject to the approval of and shall be deposited in such place and held under such conditions as such Treasurer may determine.
