[Adopted as Article 525 of the Codified Ordinances]
Pedestrians shall not leave the curb to cross
at controlled street intersections unless directed to do so by a police
officer on duty or on the green or "go" traffic signal or the "walk"
signal.
Whenever any vehicle has stopped at a street
intersection to permit a pedestrian to cross, no operator of any other
vehicle approaching from the rear shall pass such stopped vehicle.
