A. 
At the time of renewal or whenever there is a change of license holder of all Class A, B, C, D, E or any other class of permanent liquor license, the license holder, and all employees of said license holder, shall present evidence of completion of a certified training program approved by the State of Rhode Island.

B. 
In the case of Class D liquor licenses, the person responsible for the day-to-day operation of the club, and all employees of the establishment, shall be required to complete a training program.
C. 
All employees who are required to complete a certified training program under, this section shall do so prior to the commencement of their employment with any liquor license holder in the City.

Failure of a license holder to provide evidence of completion of such a training program shall result in the establishment being closed until the certificate is provided. An extension of time to allow for certification may be granted by the Board of License Commissioners.
