There is hereby adopted by the City of Pawtucket for the purpose of establishing minimum standards in terms of performance objectives, implemented by specific requirements, which will provide reasonable safeguards to protect the public health and safety against the hazards of inadequate, defective or unsafe mechanical installations, mechanical standards as provided under the Rhode Island State Building Code in effect within the limits of the City of Pawtucket. Three (3) copies of said code shall be on file in the office of the Division of Zoning and Code Enforcement of the City of Pawtucket.
