The purpose of this district is to preserve
productive agricultural land resources and to provide for low-density
single-family residential development that will be compatible with
agricultural pursuits and will preserve natural features and to provide
for accessory uses and compatible public and semipublic uses as conditional
uses or uses by special exception.
In the R-A Rural Agricultural District, only
the following uses are authorized:

In the R-A Rural Agricultural District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Article
XI:
A. Minimum lot area:
(1) Agriculture: 10 acres (435,600 square feet).
(2) Boarding stable or riding academy: 10 acres (435,600
square feet).
(3) Mobile home park: 10 acres (435,600 square feet).
(4) Private stable or kennel: five acres (217,800 square
feet).
(5) Single-family dwelling:
(a)
Without public sewers: one acre (43,560 square
feet).
(b)
With public sewers: one acre (43,560 square
feet).
(6) All other principal uses: two acres (87,120 square
feet).
B. Minimum lot width:
(1) Single-family dwelling:

Without public sewers: 150 feet.

With public sewers: 100 feet.
(2) All other principal uses: 200 feet.
C. Maximum lot coverage: 15%.
D. Minimum front yard:
(1) Principal and accessory structure: 50 feet.
