The Board of Assessors shall annually, in the
month of January, or as soon as practicable thereafter, organize by
choosing one of its members to act as Chairman. All members of the
Board shall devote their whole time to the service of the City.
It shall be the duty of the Board of Assessors
to complete its assessment and place the list of taxes in the hands
of the Collector of Taxes on or before the first day of September,
annually, and it shall on or before the first day of September, annually,
indicate on the list the residence of the several taxpayers for that
year.

Beginning in 1996, and every six years thereafter,
the Board of Assessors of the City shall cause to be printed, at the
expense of their Department, for general distribution, at cost as
determined by the Board of Assessors, a list which shall contain the
following information: the names of all real estate taxpayers; location
of real estate, arranged in numerical order by streets; title reference
valuation of buildings; valuation of land; area; valuation per foot;
and total value.
