It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, as defined in § 476 of Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law, upon obtaining the required license, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the Town of Henrietta, subject to the provisions of this chapter, Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law and Article 19-B of the Executive Law and any amendments thereto and the following restrictions.[1]

The conduct of games of bingo in the Town shall be subject to the requirements of § 479 of the General Municipal Law.

Any game of bingo conducted within the Town pursuant to a license issued in accordance with this chapter and the applicable statutes may be operated by authorized organizations on the first day of the week, commonly known as "Sunday."
The unauthorized conduct of a bingo game and any willful violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute and be punishable as a misdemeanor.
This chapter shall take effect December 1, 1959, after proper posting and publication as provided for by law and in the event that at a referendum held for the purpose of approving this chapter pursuant to the provisions of law a majority of the qualified electors of the Town of Henrietta voting at said referendum shall approve the same by voting for the proposition.[1]
