Borough of Medford Lakes, NJ Article II Deputy Municipal Clerk

§ 33-5 Position created; term; compensation.

The position of Deputy Municipal Clerk is hereby created. The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall serve at the pleasure of Borough Council, commencing January 1, 2001. The compensation, if any, shall be established by the Municipal Salary Ordinance.

§ 33-6 Powers and duties.

A. The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the Municipal Clerk or, from time to time, by the Council.

B. The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall have all the powers of the Municipal Clerk and shall perform the functions and duties of such office during the absence or disability of the Municipal Clerk.
