This article shall supersede Town Law § 23
and § 3 of the Public Officers Law and any other law in
its application to these positions in the Town of Cazenovia.
Residency requirements, if any, for the position
of Deputy Town Clerk, Deputy Tax Collector and Deputy Registrar of
Vital Statistics shall be that the person holding the office need
not be a resident nor an elector; provided, however, that such person
reside in the County of Madison or in an adjoining county within the
State of New York.
