For the purpose of this article, the following terms are defined as follows:
BUILDING
Any structure occupied or unoccupied, including, but not limited to, theaters, entertainment, gathering, meeting, education (schools), restaurant, nightclub or religious (churches) and private dwellings, within the Township boundaries.
PYROTECHNICS
A display of fireworks that produces showers of sparks, flames or other combustible or explosive powders which may include, but not be limited to, combustible gases.
SMOKE MACHINES
Any mechanical, electrical or hand-fired grenade device that produces artificial smoke.
The use of any pyrotechnics and or smoke machines inside any buildings within the Township is prohibited with the exception of any water soluble fog-producing machine or fog produced from dry ice and water.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a Magisterial District Judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this article continues or each section of this article which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.
