Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed former Ch. 18,
Court, which consisted of Art. I, Establishment, adopted 12-21-1948
by Ord. No. 9-1948 (Ch. 12 of the 1974 Code), as amended, and Art.
II, Payment by Credit Card, adopted 3-21-2000 by Res. No. 51-2000
(Ch. 13 of the 1974 Code).
A Joint Municipal Court is hereby established pursuant to the
provisions of N.J.S.A. 2B:12-1 et seq., as amended and supplemented,
consisting of the Town of Hammonton and City of Northfield (the "participating
municipalities"). The Joint Municipal Court is created in accordance
with a certain Agreement for Joint Municipal Court for the Municipalities
of the Town of Hammonton and City of Northfield executed on behalf
of the municipalities of the Town of Hammonton and City of Northfield.
The name of the Joint Municipal Court shall be the "Joint Municipal
Court of the Town of Hammonton."
