[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake
Grove 11-16-1978 as Ch. 13 of the 1978 Code; amended in
its entirety 11-21-1996 by L.L. No. 8-1996.

It shall be the duty of the Code Enforcement Officer to enforce the Code as delineated in § 8-1. The Code Enforcement Officer shall use his discretion to enforce this Code administratively, by issuing a notice of violation and/or by filing an accusatory instrument with the Village of Lake Grove Justice Court or any other criminal court of competent jurisdiction.
