The position of Municipal Tax Collector is established
in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-141 et seq.
The term of the Municipal Tax Collector shall
be for a period of four years commencing January 1 and subject to
the tenure provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-144.
The salary of the Municipal Tax Collector shall
be fixed within the Annual Salary Ordinance duly adopted by the governing
body of the City of Northfield, which Salary Ordinance shall be maintained
on file in the office of the Municipal Clerk.
