All trailer courts operating under the jurisdiction
of the Administrative Authority shall have adequate plumbing and drainage
systems, which shall be designed and installed in accordance with
installation requirements of this code.
Trailer courts shall, in addition to the above, conform to Article
VII, "Trailers and Trailer Courts," Allegheny County Health Department, and to all other pertinent local and state regulations.
The plumbing and drainage system from trailer courts and service buildings shall be connected to a public sewer system if available. Where a public sewer system is not available, see Article

The water distribution system for any trailer court and service building shall be connected to a public water supply system if available. Where a public water supply is not available, see Article
XVII regarding individual water supply.
An accessible, adequate, potable supply of water shall be provided for each trailer court or park. The water distributing system shall conform to the requirements as outlined in Articles
XV and
XVI of this code, and be so designed and maintained as to provide a residual pressure of not less than 20 psi at each trailer site or trailer unit connection.
A. Individual trailer site.
(1) Each trailer site branch water supply shall be not
less than 3/4 inch in diameter and shall be assigned a supply demand
of 13 fixture units for determining the size of distribution piping.
(2) A shut-off valve shall be installed on the water branch
serving each trailer site and be located in a pit or have adequate
provisions to protect water supply pipe from freezing.
(3) An approved backflow preventer consisting of a spring
loaded check valve shall be installed on the water supply branch to
each trailer at, or near, the trailer connection. Such device shall
be installed in a horizontal position.
(4) An approved pressure relief valve shall be installed
immediately on the discharge side of each backflow preventive device.
Each such pressure relief valve shall be equipped with a full size
drain which shall terminate above grade at some approved location.
No shut-off valve shall be installed between any such pressure relief
valve and the trailer it serves. Such relief valves shall be set to
open at not more than 25 psi above the water service pressure.
B. Water pipe material. Water distribution pipes shall be of material as outlined in Article
