No person shall enter a swimming pool or a natural or artificial body of water for the purpose or activity of swimming, including wading or otherwise placing the body of a person in contact with the water, without having first received the permission of the owner of the swimming pool or of the body of water and without having such owner personally present on the property at all times while the person is in the water, provided that if the person has first received permission of the owner of such swimming pool or body of water who is not personally present, said person shall be deemed to have complied with the requirements of this chapter upon presenting written evidence of such owner's permission to an officer of the law, which written authorization shall specify the date and time when the person is permitted to engage in such swimming during the owner's absence from the property as subscribed by the owner of record of the property.

A. 
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall be subject to the penalties specified for a violation of the Township Code.[1]

B. 
Any minor, as defined in this state's probate code, who violates any provision of this chapter shall be dealt with by the Juvenile Division of the Probate Court or as otherwise prescribed by state law.
