Effective January 1, 1976, the Township of Galloway, County of Atlantic
and State of New Jersey, shall be covered by the Council-Manager Plan E form
of government in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:69A-81 et seq.
and other statutes referred to therein.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:69A-89, the Municipal Council
will have the legal obligation to appoint a Municipal Manager.

The salary of the Municipal Manager shall be fixed by the Salary Ordinance.[1]

Editor's Note: The current Salary Ordinance is on file in the office
of the Township Clerk.
The said Municipal Manager, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:69A-93, shall
be appointed for an indefinite term, subject to the right of removal by the
Municipal Council as provided in said statute.
The Municipal Manager shall conduct his office in the manner and subject
to the limitations set forth by the statutes of the State of New Jersey, to
include but not to be limited to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-1 to 40:69A-210, and will
otherwise conduct the affairs of the Township of Galloway, County of Atlantic
and State of New Jersey, as is provided for in all of the statutes of the
State of New Jersey, as amended.
