The Construction Code Official shall be appointed
by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of Council, for a term of
one year. He shall be a person qualified by training and experience
to assume and discharge the duties of his office.
The Construction Code Official shall take applications,
conduct inspections, issue permits and have all the other jurisdiction
assigned him by law and Borough ordinance. The Construction Code Official
shall enforce the Building Code in the Borough.[1]
