No person shall leave or post upon utility poles, traffic sign posts,
City light stanchion posts, City signs, wires or other structures, or within
any public right-of-way, or upon automobile windshields or other parts of
automobiles or other motor vehicles on public property; any handbills, posters,
fliers, writing or markings of any type, or similar or other articles which
may tend to contribute to or cause litter or obstruct any street, lane, alley,
common or other public place.
This article shall not prohibit the posting of official notice by the
City. This article shall not prohibit the posting of items on the vehicle
by the owner or with the permission of the owner of the vehicle.
Political items including but not limited to handbills, posters, fliers, and/or similar items are controlled by RSA 664:17 and also §
195-1 of this article.
Any person violating this article shall be subject to a fine of $100
a day for each day of noncompliance.
