A. 
No person shall at any time park an automobile, van, motorcycle or other motor vehicle on any sidewalk in the City for any period of time or obstruct any sidewalk in any way.
B. 
Anyone violating this provision shall be fined a minimum of $50. If not paid within seven days, the fine shall increase to $60.
A. 
No parking shall be allowed in any duly designated municipal employee parking lot during the hours of City Hall operation except by authorized vehicles displaying an appropriate parking decal. However, no parking shall be allowed in the duly designated library municipal employee parking lot during the hours of library operation except by authorized vehicles displaying an appropriate parking decal.

On the Elm Street Junior High property, no parking shall be allowed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on days when school is in session except by authorized vehicles displaying an appropriate parking decal.

Parking shall be designated for Fire Department employees only on the west side of Chestnut Street, beginning at a point 80 feet south of Lake Street and running northerly a distance of 40 feet. These restrictions are in effect weekdays only, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A. 
At no time shall any vehicle be stationed in front of any private driveway, or within two feet of any private driveway on either side thereof, or across the street from any driveway so as to impede the free movement of vehicles using such private driveway. Any vehicles parked in violation of this section may be towed or moved as directed by the Chief of Police or his or her designee(s).
B. 
Anyone violating this provision shall be fined $50, and shall be responsible for the cost of towing or moving fees. If not paid within seven days, the fine shall increase by $10 to $60.
No vehicle shall enter or remain in any part of a highway established and designated as a safety zone by the Police Department.
A. 
For places of public assembly, or any structure with a gross first-floor area of over 3,000 square feet, the Fire Chief and Police Chief, upon a joint determination that a hazardous or potentially hazardous condition exists or may exist, may require the establishment of emergency lanes within any private way or private parking lot to prohibit parking within said emergency lanes. These provisions shall apply to both new and existing buildings, excluding single-family residences, but including planned residential developments and condominium developments, whether single-family or not, and are for the purpose of providing access by emergency vehicles.
B. 
Within established emergency lanes prohibiting parking, the Fire Chief and Police Chief may require the words "No Parking—Fire Lane" to be painted and maintained by the owner on the macadam of the way or lot in standard traffic-safety-size letters. In conjunction with the painting, the Police Chief and Fire Chief may require the owner to install and maintain signs reading "No Parking—Fire Lane—Tow Zone" in conspicuous places but at a distance of no closer than every 50 feet Such markings and sign installations shall be accomplished not later than 60 days after written notification by the Police Chief and Fire Chief that they are required and the specifications which are to be followed.
C. 
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be fined a minimum of $100. Each discrete instance or each day that such violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense. The Police Department may, in addition, cause any vehicle parked in an emergency lane, other than attended delivery trucks actively loading or unloading merchandise and not substantially interfering with vehicle movements in the emergency lane, to be towed from such emergency lane at the expense of the owner of such vehicle.

During the voting hours on election days, no person shall park a vehicle in front of the entrance to the polling place in each ward, for a distance of 100 feet on each side of the entrance, except for the purpose of voting. Two spaces shall be reserved for use by the elderly and handicapped and shall be so designated by temporary signs.

Any vehicle left parked on any public way or in a public parking lot, excluding City-owned parking garages, during a snow emergency may be towed as directed by the Chief of Police or his or her designee(s).
B. 
No person shall park or leave a motor vehicle on any public way in the City during snow-removal operations. Snow-removal schedules shall be posted in public ways at least three hours before the snow-removal operations are to commence. Penalty for violation shall be a minimum of $50. Any vehicle which impedes the snow-removal process may be towed as directed by the Chief of Police or his or her designee(s).
C. 
No person shall park or leave a motor vehicle in a public parking lot during snow-removal or plowing operations. Snow-removal or plowing schedules shall be posted in public parking lots at least eight hours before the snow-removal or plowing operations are to commence. Penalty for violation shall be a minimum of $100. Any vehicle left parked in any public parking lot during snow-removal or plowing operations may be towed or moved, as directed by the Chief of Police or his or her designee(s).
D. 
The owner of any towed or moved vehicle is responsible for the cost of towing or moving fees and all other costs associated with towing or moving. Said fine and any towing or moving costs must be satisfactorily paid in full prior to the vehicle being released to its owner. After 24 hours, the vehicle will be subject to a daily storage fee.[1]

Any parking space, whether on public or private property, specifically designated for the physically handicapped shall be indicated by means of a sign with the international symbol of accessibility (and indicating "van accessible" if applicable) mounted high enough so it can be seen while a vehicle is parked in the space. The dimensions of such spaces shall be clearly delineated by means of sign arrows attached to signposts.
C. 
Any person violating this section shall be fined $200; and if such fine is not paid within seven days, the fine shall be increased by $10 to a total of $210.
It shall be unlawful for any tractor-trailer-truck, the tractor alone or the trailer alone to be left parked or stationed at any time, except during the actual loading or unloading of materials therefrom, on any public street or way in the City, except for the following streets, not to counteract the overnight parking legislation currently on the books:

A. 
There shall be no parking, standing and/or stopping in reserved, designated, posted parking spaces in the City parking lot areas as outlined in § 320-47C of the Code of the City of Nashua, as amended.
B. 
Any unauthorized vehicle found parked in posted reserved parking spaces shall be towed at the owner's expense, and the owner shall be fined $15; and if such fine is not paid within seven days, that fine shall be increased by $10 to a total of $25. Fines shall be paid to the City Traffic Violations Bureau. Any person desiring a hearing shall, within seven days, make request therefor, whereupon complaint shall be entered in City District Court.
A. 
Lincoln Park. No vehicle shall be stationed or remain for a period exceeding four hours on the east side of the Lincoln Park parking lot.[1]

No unregistered vehicle shall be parked on any public street or in any City-owned public parking lot or garage. The last owner of record, according to the State of New Hampshire registration records, of any vehicle violating this section shall be fined at least $50, and shall be responsible for the cost of towing.

It shall be unlawful for any vehicle sales, lease or rental business to cause or permit a vehicle to be parked on a public street or in a City-owned public parking lot while such vehicle is in the custody, control, or possession of the business for the purpose of being parked or offered for sale, lease or rent. For the purposes of this section, “vehicle sales, lease or rental business” means the business of offering any new or used vehicle for sale, lease, or rent. The fine for a violation of this provision shall be $50 and $75 for a seven-day delay.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for any camper or recreational vehicle to park or remain on any public property, except on public streets where and when parking is otherwise permitted.
B. 
Regardless of the fines listed in § 320-87, any person violating this section shall be fined $100.
C. 
This section shall not apply to recreational vehicles or campers used by City employees, City contractors, or permitted vendors in the performance of their official duties.
