The Summer Recreation Director, subject to the direction of the Common
Council, shall have charge of the tennis courts, apparatus and personal property
on the playgrounds of the city and is authorized to close the tennis courts
whenever from rain or wet grounds the same are unfit for use.
It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully or maliciously injure,
remove or destroy any of the apparatus or property on the playgrounds or to
use the tennis courts when the same have been closed by the Summer Recreation
Director.

It shall be a violation of this chapter for any person to have in his
possession or under his custody or control any container made of glass which
has been designed to contain or does contain a beverage within any park or
playground currently owned or under the custody or control of the City of
Hornell except in designated picnic areas and carried to and from such areas.

Each violation of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in §
1-1 of the Code.
