This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Non-Moving Vehicle and Traffic Law of the City of Auburn."
The purpose of this article is to give authority to the Auburn Fire Inspector and/or his designee(s), in certain instances, to issue non-moving vehicle and traffic violations to motor vehicles located at private or public areas. It is the purpose of this article to improve the public safety, health and welfare by controlling various non-moving vehicle and traffic infractions which threaten fire prevention and public safety in the City of Auburn.
The following violations will be enforced under this article:

Upon violation of any part of this article, the Fire Chief and the Fire Chief's designees are authorized to issue tickets in the same manner as the Auburn parking meter enforcement personnel. Tickets will be processed according to Article VIII, Traffic Violations Bureau, of this chapter.
Any violation under this article shall be fined in the amount of $25, with the exception of a second violation of a handicapped parking violation, wherein the fine shall be $50. Moneys due under this section are to be paid and enforced in the same manner as Article VIII, Traffic Violations Bureau, of this chapter.
