a.
The purpose of the TCC is to aid in the land use application process of potential and filed applications before either the Planning Board or Zoning Board of Adjustment by screening the development proposals and plans for compliance with the Township's land use ordinances and providing a forum for informal discussion with applicants as may from time to time be appropriate with respect to direction and guidance on issues incident to the development proposal.
[Ord. #1928, 2-27-2007, § 15, amended]
b.
The fact that an applicant shall have come before the TCC shall in no way relieve the applicant of the responsibility for compliance with the Township's land use ordinances and, specifically, the identification of variances or exceptions required in connection with the specific development proposal.
[Ord. #1928, 2-27-2007, § 15, amended]
c.
Comments made by members of the TCC during a TCC meeting shall be advisory in nature only and without prejudice to the land use Board which shall have jurisdiction to hear the application for development.
d.
Particularly in projects in the concept stages, the TCC may advise a potential applicant that a work session with the Planning Board be recommended prior to submitting a formal application.
