Every swimming pool shall be surrounded by a fence or barrier wall not
less than four feet in height. Each fence, wall, door and/or gate shall be
so constructed as to have no openings, holes or spaces larger than four inches
in any direction. Picket fences will be allowable, which shall have a space
between solid pickets of no greater than four inches. All gates shall be self-closing
and -latching. Stairs, landings or similar aids to access for aboveground
pools shall be removable and able to be secured or stored to prevent unauthorized
use. For the purpose of this chapter, "swimming pool" shall mean a pool more
than 24 inches deep.
