The municipal parking field designated as "Parking Field No. 6" on the Official Map of the village, or such portion thereof as the Traffic Commission may determine to be required therefor, is hereby designated as a parking area wherein during the hours hereinafter specified the parking of vehicles shall be permitted only by the procuring of licenses as hereinafter provided. The portion of such parking area wherein licenses are required shall be marked and indicated by suitable signs.
During the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. of each day excepting Sundays, no vehicle shall be parked or permitted to stand in such parking area unless a license therefor has first been obtained from the Village Clerk and there is conspicuously displayed on such vehicle a sticker, tag or other proper identification issued and affixed to said vehicle as directed by the Village Clerk, showing the number of the parking field, the number of the license and its expiration date.
All licenses for parking in such parking area shall be issued by the Village Clerk in accordance with applications and forms therefor approved by the Board of Trustees. Unless otherwise authorized by the Board of Trustees of the village, no such license shall be issued to any person who is not regularly employed on premises situated in that part of the CO-2 District, as defined in Chapter 200, Zoning, bounded on the north by the southerly side of the Long Island Railroad tracks, Hempstead line, on the west by the rear of the premises fronting on Franklin Avenue between the southerly side of the Long Island Railroad tracks, Hempstead line, and the northerly side of Sixth Street, on the south by the northerly side of Sixth Street and on the east by the westerly side of Franklin Avenue. Licenses so issued shall expire annually on December 31, unless limited to a shorter period at the time of issuance. No license shall be transferable from one owner to another.

The fee for such license shall be as determined from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees. Said fee shall be paid to the Village Clerk before the issuance of such license.
Licenses granted under this Article may be suspended by the Mayor until the next meeting of the Board of Trustees and may be revoked at any time by the Board of Trustees if the owner, operator or driver of any vehicle for which a license has been issued shall have violated any of the provisions of this Article or shall be found to be no longer qualified to hold such license.
