A. 
No person shall operate a truck, commercial vehicle, tractor or tractor-trailer combination having a total gross weight in excess of 10,000 pounds upon Jenkinstown Road in the Town of Gardiner, Ulster County, New York, between its intersection with Route 32 on the east and Route 208 on the west.
B. 
This section shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other personal property along said Jenkinstown Road from which such vehicles and combinations are otherwise excluded. This section shall not be construed to exclude school buses, Fire Department vehicles and equipment and trucks and equipment operated under the authority of any state, county or town highway department.
C. 
Signs giving notice that vehicles having a total gross weight of 10,000 pounds are excluded from said Jenkinstown Road as described hereinabove shall be posted as follows: At the intersection with Route 32 on the east and Route 208 on the west.
D. 
This article shall not be construed to prevent the operation of any such overweight vehicle on Jenkinstown Road by an operator who resides on such highway for the limited purpose of travel to and from his or her residence.

No person shall operate a vehicle between the intersections of Dusinberre Road and Route 44/55, Philllies Bridge Road and Route 208, and/or Forest Glen Road and Route 208 in the Town of Gardiner, Ulster County, New York, to bypass Route 208 and Route 44/55, or as through traffic routes.
B. 
No person shall operate a truck, commercial vehicle, tractor, or tractor trailer combination having a total gross weight in excess of 20,000 pounds on Dusinberre Road between the intersections of Route 44/55 to the south and Steve’s Lane to the north.
C. 
This section shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other personal property along said Dusinberre Road. This subsection shall not be construed to exclude school buses, fire department vehicles and equipment, and trucks and equipment operated under the authority of any state, county or Town Highway Department.
D. 
Signs giving notice that vehicles having a total gross weight of 20,000 pounds are excluded from said Dusinberre Road as described hereinabove shall be posted as follows: at the intersection of Dusinberre Road with Route 44/55 on the south and the intersections of Dusinberre Road with Phillies Bridge on the north and Steve’s Lane on the eastbound shoulder.

Signs giving notice that any and all through traffic is excluded from said Dusinberre Road, Forest Glen Road, and Phillies Bridge Road as described hereinabove shall be posted as follows: at the intersection of Dusinberre Road with Route 44/55 on the south, and Dusinberre Road and Phillies Bridge on the north, Steve’s Lane on the eastbound shoulder, and Route 208 to the east.
G. 
Signs giving notice that excluded vehicles may use an established hamlet truck route within the hamlet shall be posted as required.
H. 
This section shall not be construed to prevent the operation of any such overweight vehicle on Dusinberre Road by an operator who resides on such highways for the limited purpose of travel to and from his or her residence.

Penalties for violations of this section are set forth in § 212-9 of this Code.

Any person who operates a vehicle with a gross weight of over 10,000 pounds on any Town highway designated herein in violation of this article shall be guilty of a violation and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $250 or to imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both. Each time a vehicle is operated in violation of this article, it shall constitute a separate and distinct violation.
