It is hereby declared that the ability to ensure compliance with Building, Fire and Property Maintenance Codes of the Village of Piermont[1] will be enhanced by the adoption of the provisions of § 325 of the Multiple Dwelling Law of the State of New York.

The Board of Trustees hereby adopts the provisions of § 325 of the Multiple Dwelling Law, effective October 1, 1993.
The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all multiple dwellings with six or more units.
Condominiums and cooperatives are hereby excluded from the provisions of this chapter.
