Any claim which may be made against the Town of Forestburgh and/or any
improvement districts for damages for wrong or injury to personal property
or for the death of a person shall be made and served in compliance with § 50-e
of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
Every action upon such claim shall be commenced pursuant to the provisions
of § 50-i of the General Municipal Law.
This article shall not apply to actions upon claims for damage or compensation
for property taken by condemnation for any public purpose.
