§ 9-103.1
Creation; membership.
A.
The Adequate Public Facilities Advisory Board is hereby established.
B.
The Board shall consist of 6 members appointed by the County Council:
(1)
1 County Council member;
(2)
The Superintendent of Schools or the Superintendent's designee;
(3)
1 Representative of the Department of Planning and Zoning;
(4)
1 Representative of the Harford County Council of PTA's:
(5)
The County Executive or a designee of the County Executive employed in the Executive Branch of the Harford County government; and
(6)
1 member of the Harford County Board of Education selected by the Board of Education.
§ 9-103.2
Terms; vacancies; compensation.
A.
The members shall serve terms coterminous with that of the County Council.
B.
Members of the Board shall serve without compensation.
§ 9-103.3
Officers.
The membership shall annually select from its own membership a Chairperson, a Vice Chairperson and a Secretary.
§ 9-103.4
Meetings; quorum.
A.
A quorum shall consist of 4 members.
B.
The Board shall meet in December and June of each year and may hold such other meeting as may be necessary for the proper conduct of its business.
§ 9-103.5
Powers and duties.
The Board shall:
A.
Review and evaluate information and data related to public school capacities, public school enrollments, public school facilities and growth trends; and
B.
Issue a report on their findings to the County Council on or before June 1 of each year.
