The Planning Board shall comply with the provisions of the State Environmental Quality Review Act under Article Eight of the Environmental Conservation Law and its implementing regulations and Chapter
140, Environmental Quality Review, of this Code.
No land may be subdivided unless the subdivision is approved by the Planning Board in accordance with the provisions of this article. It is the intention of the Board of Trustees in adopting this requirement to rely upon the enabling power of § 7-725-a of the Village Law of New York State in lieu of §§ 7-728, 7-730, 7-732, 7-738 and 7-740 of the Village Law. The Planning Board may, in accordance with §
310-31C of this chapter, waive submissions by the applicant which it believes are unnecessary in light of the nature of the particular subdivision.
