All warrants for Town Meetings shall be posted
in accordance with MGL c. 39, § 10, for the Annual Town
Meeting, at least seven days before the time of holding said meeting
and for Special Town Meetings, at least 14 days before the time of
holding said meeting.
All articles to be inserted in the warrant for
the Annual Town Meeting shall be placed in the hands of the Select
Board at least 60 days before such meeting; or for any Special Town
Meeting, articles shall be placed in the hands of the Select Board
at least 30 days before such meeting.
The person or persons submitting an article
to appear in the warrant for any special or regular Town Meeting may
appear before the Finance Committee at one of its meetings and further
acquaint the members of the Committee with all the facts regarding
the article to be inserted.
