Whenever the Town of Mount Pleasant shall become
vested with the title to real property by virtue of a foreclosure
proceeding brought to enforce the lien of unpaid real property tax
or taxes, the Town of Mount Pleasant may sell and convey the real
property so acquired.
It shall be in the sole discretion of the Town
Board of the Town of Mount Pleasant to sell and convey such real property
by either a private or public sale. In the event of a public sale,
the Town shall advertise for bids.
The Town Board of the Town of Mount Pleasant
shall establish the minimum price and term of sale for which the real
property will be sold, taking into consideration inter alia the amount
of unpaid taxes, the interest accrued thereon, the cost of foreclosure
and the benefit to the Town of Mount Pleasant of restoring the real
property to the tax rolls.
No such sale shall be effective unless and until
such sale shall have been approved and confirmed by a majority vote
of the Town Board of the Town of Mount Pleasant.

The fee of $750 is the charge for each parcel involving delinquent
taxes.
