No person or persons shall obstruct any street or public highway within the limits of the City of Fairfax, Minnesota by leaving, placing, keeping or causing to be left, placed or kept any railroad car upon or across any public street, road or highway, within the City of Fairfax, Minnesota for any purpose or object whatever.
No person shall stop or cause to be stopped any train of cars, car, or engine across any public street, road or highway within the limits of the City of Fairfax, Minnesota, except a sufficient time to couple and separate the cars, not to exceed 10 minutes.[1]

Whosoever is guilty of violating any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine not more than $1,000, and costs of prosecution, for each and every such offense, and in default of payment of such fine and costs shall be imprisoned in the county jail of Renville County, Minnesota until such fine and costs are paid, not exceeding 90 days.
