The following election districts are hereby established with
populations set forth as follows, based upon the 2020 decennial census:

One Supervisor shall be elected from each election
district herein established thereby creating a six-member Board of
Supervisors.

The boundaries of the respective election districts shall be
set forth hereafter by census block identifier. The census blocks
are those reported by the United States Census Bureau in the 2020
census reports provided pursuant to United States Public Law 94-171,
existing as of the date of the adoption of this ordinance. In the
event of a conflict between the map and the census block identifiers,
the census block identifiers shall control.

B. The boundaries of the respective precincts are set forth hereafter

of the adoption of the Redistricting Ordinance. In the event of a
conflict between the map and the census block identifiers, the census
block identifiers shall control.

There is hereby established a Central Absentee
Voter Precinct, to be located in the Shenandoah County Government
Center, located at 600 North Main Street, Rootstock, Virginia, for
the sole purpose of receiving, counting and recording all absentee
voter ballots casts within said County in all elections. The Central
Absentee Voter Precinct shall have not less than three election officers
and such precinct shall be otherwise operated consistent with the
state laws governing same.

The General Registrar of Shenandoah County shall
notify by mail, no later than 15 days prior to the next general, special
or primary election occurring on or after the effective date of this
chapter, all registered voters where precinct and/or polling place
has been changed by the provisions of this chapter.
