Any person who delivers or procures to be delivered or has possession
of with intent to deliver to any inmate confined in the Green Lake County
Jail or shall deposit or conceal in or about the Green Lake County Jail any
article or thing whatever with intent that any inmate confined therein shall
obtain or receive the same, or who receives from any inmate any article or
thing whatever with intent to convey the same out of the Green Lake County
Jail, contrary to the rules and regulations of the Green Lake County Sheriff's
Department and without the knowledge or permission of the Green Lake County
Sheriff, shall be in violation of this article.
Any person who shall violate any provisions of this article shall, upon
conviction thereof, forfeit not less than $25 nor more than $300, together
with the costs of prosecution and court costs and fees. Payment of the judgment
may be suspended by the sentencing court for not more than 60 days. Any person
who shall fail to pay the amount of the forfeiture plus all costs for violation
of any provision of this article may, upon order of the court entering judgment
therefor and having jurisdiction of the case, be imprisoned until such forfeiture
and costs are paid, but not exceeding 90 days.
