No person shall be required to obtain a license
if:
A. The sale is conducted in a business district and is
a permitted use in such district.
B. The person conducts, on his own residential premises,
no more than three sales in any one year. Each sale may be held for
no more than three consecutive days and shall not be conducted between
the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
C. The sale is conducted by religious, educational, charitable
or civic organizations on premises located in a residential district
no more than three times in any one year. Each such sale may be held
for no more than three consecutive days and shall not be conducted
between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

The license fee shall be as stated in the City
of Waterloo Fee Schedule for such sale not to exceed three days.

Signs may not be posted on traffic information or regulatory
sign posts. All signs must be removed within 48 hours of the completion
of the sale.
Except as otherwise specifically provided in this chapter, any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter or any order, rule or regulation made hereunder shall be subject to a forfeiture as provided in Chapter
1, §
1-4, of this Code.
