Powers and duties.
The City Attorney is the legal advisor of the City and shall perform duties in accordance with §
801
of the Charter.

Appointment; unclassified position; compensation.
A.
The City Attorney shall be appointed or removed with or without cause at the absolute discretion of the Mayor and Council.
B.
Section
804
of the Municipal Charter provides that the City Attorney is an unclassified position.
C.
Compensation shall be determined by the Council.
