It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation at any time to operate or cause to be rolled over any
of the streets or highways of Princess Anne which have been improved
by paving or macadamizing or top dressed with crushed stone or gravel
any tractor or other motor vehicle, the wheels of which are equipped
with cleats, lugs or other traction devices designed to penetrate
or grip the surface of such road or street.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to operate or cause to be rolled over any of the streets
or highways within the Town which have been improved by paving or
macadamizing or top dressed with crushed stone or gravel any tractor
or other motor vehicle unless the wheels of such vehicle are equipped
with rubber tires or smooth metal tires bearing no cleats, lugs or
other projections designed to pierce or grip the surface of such street
or roadway.

A. It shall be unlawful for any truck or motor vehicle
with more than two axles to drive over, pass along, park, stand or
in any manner use any street, drive, road or avenue within the corporate
limits of the Town of Princess Anne, with the exception of the following
designated routes:
(1) Somerset Avenue (MD Route 675);
(2) Mt. Vernon Road (MD Route 362);
(3) West Post Office Road (MD Route 388);
(4) Manokin Avenue (MD Route 363);
(7) Beckford Avenue between Broad Street and Manokin Avenue;
(8) University of Maryland Eastern Shore accessway.
B. This section shall not apply to vehicles making a
local one-way delivery to any residence or business located on or
along any street, drive, road or avenue in Princess Anne.
A violation of this article shall be declared to be a municipal infraction and shall be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, §
1-8 of this Code.
